Light Sentinel Controlled Access Systems

KardexRemstar Sentinel^® controlled access systems combine high density storage with monitored access to provide increased levels of secured inventory management. KardexRemstar combines its vertical carousel technology with a light detection system to provide monitored accessibility for specialty tools, consumable items and inventory.

Unlike standard drawer and shelf systems that are typically limited to four feet in height , the Light Sentinel controlled access system can go up to 12 feet tall , reclaiming up to four times the otherwise wasted floor space. All items are presented to the operator at an ergonomic height.

The unit’s small footprint makes it ideal to be located at point of use. This increases worker’s productivity and eliminates costly walk and search time. Likewise, the system requires no dedicated personnel, reducing traditional stockrooms, floor space and labor requirements.
