Light Sentinel Applications

The KardexRemstar Sentinel^® controlled access system is well suited for storage of items such as tooling, small dies, molds, specialty tools, premium parts, and consumable goods such as glasses, gloves, equipment, etc. that require controlled access. From the tool room to the stockroom including MRO (Maintenance Repair Operations) controlled access without dedicated employees is often a key step to implementing any lean manufacturing initiative.


Once the proper description has been entered the photoeye will deactivate and allow the tool to be removed.
When removing a tool without the proper access information, it will break the light beam and activate the Light Strobe Beacon and Audible Security alarms.
