With the automatic security doors, department managers can give restricted access rights to certain employees. This helps ensure that specific users can retrieve the files, documents and items to which they have been given prior approval by their managers and supervisors. Sensitive files and valuable items are stored within a secure and enclosed environment keeping items safe and protected.
The Lektriever Electric Lateral File is a series of vertically arranged rotating shelves controlled by an electronic keypad that delivers files to the operator at an ergonomically positioned work counter for easy access, eliminating walking, searching and bending.
Once an authorized operator selects a shelf, the unit rotates with the security doors closed and presents only the selected shelf. The doors can close automatically using a delay switch, so access is limited to those authorized users only. Non-authorized shelf requests are denied and can be recorded on the control system.
The KardexRemstar Lektriever Electric Lateral File is designed to handle a wide range of media. Its vertical design can increase the capacity of existing filing and storage areas by up to 271% and improve worker productivity up to 160%.
