With quick accessibility to items the SafeSpace Resistance Detection Sensor assures the closing carriage will immediately stop when an operator enters an aisle as it is closing. All other carriages come to a controlled stop and any of the aisles will remain stopped until an operator manually resets the system.
Automatic aisles lighting, barrier free track, front and rear entry are all available for enhanced usage options as well as security options. Restricted access to the entire system or to a single aisle can be determined by supervisors to maintain secure storage.
Designed to provide maximum ease of use and high storage density, aisles can be accessed in as little as six seconds, increasing productivity. Kompakt Mobile Storage Systems consist of a group of shelving bays mounted on wheeled carriages that move on rails allowing the shelving to be condensed together with only one access point or aisle. Using a mechanical assist, electric powered or manual glide, the operator opens an access point where desired to store or retrieve material.
